HOUSTON – The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is looking for a gunman who robbed a bank in southwest Houston.
The robbery happened at the Prosperity Bank in the 8300 block of the Southwest Freeway on Monday, Houston Crime Stoppers say.
Around 2:45 p.m., a man walked into Baseball caps and handed a note to the teller demanding money. He then lifted his jacket, revealing a black semi-automatic handgun in his waistband.
The teller gave the gunman cash. That gunman later fled the store on foot.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
Surveillance cameras captured photos of the gunman during the robbery.
He is described as a:
– White male, 30 to 40 years old
– 5’7” to 5’8”
– Average build
– Clean shaven
He was seen wearing a black ski cap with “new york yankees caps” written in red, a dark jacket and blue jeans.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered to anyone with information that could lead to the filing of charges and/or an arrest in this case.
